Our Staff
Terry Nelson – Senior Pastor
Terry is a graduate of Mercer University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in local church ministry for over twenty five years as student pastor, executive pastor, and senior pastor.
Also working within business environments, Terry has taught Team Building, Conflict Resolution, and Communication Skills for several corporations in the Southeast.
Terry maintains a passion for community. His involvement includes leadership training with the Harrison High School football and lacrosse teams. Currently he is assisting as community coach for ninth grade football at Allatoona High School and Leadership Development Instructor for the varsity football team at Alatoona High School.
Kent Lilley – Minister of Worship & Arts
Kent has been in the Music & Worship ministry for over twenty five years, having begun while still a college student. He has served in churches of all sizes in Texas, Minnesota, and Georgia. He most recently was a Music Associate on the music staff of Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta, GA and served as the interim Minister of Music from June, 2004 to July, 2005. With a piano and his voice, Kent has performed with orchestras, jazz ensembles, and has led worship all around the world.
Kent, studied piano and vocal performance throughout college. He continued post-graduate studies in piano at St. Olaf College, and graduate level Conducting study at the University of Minnesota. He went on to pursue theological studies at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN for 2 years.
Tiffany McQueen – Minister of Preschool & Children
Tiffany is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology (Ga Tech). She has served in local church ministry for over five years as Ministry Assistant, as well as Director of Preschool and Children’s Ministry. Tiffany’s community involvement includes coordinating Upward Cheerleading summer camps and coaching seasons.
Tammy Pass – Student Ministries Director
Tammy received a BSE degree from East Tennessee State University, and her Master of Education degree from Kennesaw State University. She has worked with students and parents for the past ten years, as an educator and tutor. She has also served as a volunteer in Keystone for the past three years.
