A friend recently ovbserved that people all around seemed to be just on the verge of "losing it".  What he meant was that everyone seemed to be tense and on edge.  Economic struggles, sweeping political changes and the constant threat of terror can make even the most laid back person uptight.  Rather than becoming preoccupied with problems, though, we can become renewed with hope.  Hope is our key to personal well-being in these times.  Our current study through the Gospel of Mark entitled, Living the Encouraged Life, is providing some very uplifting and bedrock principles upon which to stand in these trying days.  I invite you to join us on Sundays...you will be glad that you did.
